“Take Me for a Ride in your Pickup”
The Stoneham Public Library is delighted to host Ben Jacques’s eclectic and intriguing exhibit featuring photographs of classic and antique pickup trucks, taken mostly in New England. Viewers will be invited to leave a memory of a pickup they have owned or ridden in–on the farm or in the city. Most of the photos were taken by Ben Jacques, several along Route 2 from Boston to North Adams. A few of the photos were submitted by Ben’s family and friends. They include photos of Fords, Chevys, Dodges and Studebakers.”American pickup trucks are iconic,” Jacques says. “They reveal so much about American culture, both in their function and design.’
