Directions

From Route 93 North:

  • Take Exit 34 (Rte 28/Stoneham/Melrose).
  • Turn on Rt. 28 North which is also Main Street in Stoneham.
  • Travel just over a mile and turn left in to the municipal parking lot just before 431 Main Street, the Stoneham Public Library.

From Route 93 South:

  • Take Exit 36 (Montvale Avenue).
  • Turn left onto Montvale Ave. at the end of the off ramp. Turn right onto Rt. 28 South which is also Main Street in Stoneham.
  • Travel just under a mile and turn right into the municipal parking lot just after 431 Main Street, the Stoneham Public Library.

From Route 95 (North or South):

  • Take exit 38 South onto Route 28 (Main Street). The library is approximately one mile south on the right side of the street.

Parking

Municipal Lot

There is a municipal parking lot next to the library that can be entered from Main Street and Warren Street. If you anticipate spending more than two hours at the library, ask at the circulation desk about signing out a parking pass.

On-Street Parking

There is on-street parking in front of the library. Pay attention to the signs so that you don’t park too close to the MBTA bus stop. If you anticipate spending more than two hours at the library, ask at the circulation desk about signing out a parking pass.
