For Adults and Teens 12+
In order to register for a Stoneham Public Library card in person, you must bring a form of ID and/or another document with your current address to the main circulation desk.
Click HERE to register for an e-card online! An e-card gives you immediate access to our digital resources like hoopla, Libby, and kanopy. Please note that an e-card does not cover museum pass reservations. Once you register, you will receive an email with your e-card barcode number. The e-card is valid for three (3) years. If you would like to check out physical materials, you will need to visit the library to upgrade to a full access card. Make sure you bring a form of ID and an item with your current address. Please note that if you already have a full access library card, you will not be validated to receive an e-card.
For Children
At this time, children must register for library cards in person in the Junior Library (Youth Services). Children must:
- be at least 5 years old
- be present (we will not create cards for children if they are not here)
- be accompanied by their guardian
- have their address verified by their guardians’ ID or item with current address
