Join us for a screening of Memories Flow Beneath It: From Valley to Quabbin, a film by Roger Hagopian. The screening will be followed by a Q&A.

The Quabbin Reservoir supplies water to over 50 communities in the greater metropolitan Boston area.

This 69 minute film will tell the story of the evolution of this expanding water system and involves – the Irish famine, the Italian immigrant stone masons, the Great Boston Fire of 1872, State House debates, Supreme Court decisions, and incredible civil engineering innovations – all culminating in the traumatic destruction of four towns for the “the greater good.”
