Jane Hawk series review

Check out Melissa’s review of The Jane Hawk series by Dean Koontz.

It’s great to have friends you can count on when the chips are down. In this gripping thriller series by prolific author Dean Koontz, Jane Hawk, a former FBI agent and recent widow, is pitted against a conspiracy of evil that is intent on taking over the minds of all Americans with nanotechnology in order to create a utopian world. Yikes!

The appeal of this series lies in the pluck and resourcefulness of the heroine, who is determined to clear the name of her husband who died of a supposed suicide. Jane Hawk is unstoppable in the face of incredible adversity; she is relentless in her desire to stop the bad guys and protect her son. The pace of these stories is non-stop! The cars and speed in which they travel make me feel that I am in the middle of a high speed chase. The characters are well written, as I not only loved the small heroes who stood up to the evil, but was surprised at how fond I became with some of the lowly hit men. I enjoyed reading this series and rooting for the heroine and her ragtag crew to triumph over the bad guys. It’s getting cold out there, so this five-book series should hold you over for awhile. Get a mug of something you like, tuck in, and get ready for a wild ride!
