  • Where will the Junior Library be? Will it be closed for the renovation?

    While the renovation to the Carnegie Wing (which houses the Junior Library) is happening, the department will move to the Marcy Room on the lower level of the library!

  • Can we still borrow books?

    Yes! We need to pack away most of our collection for the renovation, but we will keep some books out to browse through when you visit. We are happy to order books for you from other libraries which will be delivered right to us!

  • Will you still have things for kids to play with?

    We love being a community gathering place, so we will try our best to have activities for kiddos to do if you drop in. We likely won’t have space for toys, coloring, and puzzles all at once, but we’ll have at least one thing for them to do!

  • Will you still host programs?

    We will try our best to host as many programs as we can, though our schedule might be a bit different than expected! You can click here to check our calendar!

  • Will your hours stay the same?

    Yes! We will be open 10-7 on Mondays and Thursdays, and 9-5 Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday.
