September 2023’s Artist of the Month is Constance Festo Lafond. In September, the library will feature Constance Festo Lafond’s beautiful exhibit of paintings. This artist has been creating and showing her work for many years starting in 1985 in Brookline, Massachusetts, where she was a longtime resident and worked out of her home studio. Currently, she maintains an art studio at Porter Mill in Beverly, MA.
Constance is an impressionist painter, and her subjects and painting style vary. Her other artistic interests include photography, abstract expression, and fashion. Many of her images have been put on to her popular custom Le Galeriste clothing line produced in Montreal. Her work has been shown all over New England and is in many private collections. The public is invited to her studio at 95 Rantoul St. in Beverly, Massachusetts every 2nd Saturday of each month and by appointment.
