Bullet Journal Club for Adults

Join us for the Bullet Journal Club for Adults on the first Saturday of each month! We will have stencils, markers, washi tape, and stickers for you to use (supplies are not take home, please leave them at the library). Bring your own journal and imagination!

This is a drop-in style program, meaning a staff member will not be leading it. You can come any time between 11 and 1 and the materials will be set out.

This month the Bullet Journal Club for Adults will meet on Saturday, May 4th at 11 AM.

Read It & Eat: Cookbook Club

Do you love cooking and trying new recipes?

If so, register for “Read It and Eat”! Come pick up this months cookbook, Ottolenghi Simple by Yotam Ottolenghi Copies are on hold on the circulation desk. After reading through the book pick (and cook) a recipe to bring in for our club meeting on May 16th at 7pm!

“I AM…” with Motivational Speaker, Scott Maloney

Join us on May 23rd to hear Scott Maloney present “I AM…” at 7 PM in the Marcy Room. This interactive program for anyone that wants to make a change in their life, big or small, is presented by Massachusetts native, Scott Maloney. Scott’s been a comedian, teacher, television reporter and for almost 20 years, he’s been a motivational speaker, sharing stories throughout the country.

Those two little words are the preamble to the most powerful phrase in the world. Scott gives methods to maintaining focus on positive energy and avoiding negative thoughts in difficult situations, while learning from the past and preventing future mistakes.

Creative Writing Group

Interested in writing amongst a group of peers? During the meetings you will have conversations about writing habits, sharing work and giving critique (optional of course!), and have a timed writing portion to work on your latest work in progress or write on a theme.

Members should bring pencils, pens, notebooks, loose-leaf paper and/or a laptop for brainstorming and taking notes.

Saturday Movie Matinee: Mean Girls (2024)

Come to our Movie Matinee on Saturday, May 25th at 11 AM in the Marcy Room. We will be showing the 2024 movie Mean Girls, directed by Samantha Jayne. “New student Cady Heron navigates the thorny jungles of teenage and high school drama.
